Hello! My name is Benjamín Bertini. I am a final-year student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology at the Faculty of Biochemistry, Chemistry, and Pharmacy of the National University of Tucumán - Argentina 🇦🇷 (FBQF - UNT)My interests lie in the fields of biotechnology, specifically in dissemination, research, and development, with a focus on synthetic biology, molecular biology and microbiology. I am particularly passionate about its applications in environmental preservation, value addition to industrial by-products through microbial processes, and phytopathology.In addition to my studies, I am a volunteer at the civil association "Dale Tu Mano," where we provide socio-educational support every Saturday in neighborhoods, aiming to accompany individuals in their life journeys and reduce student dropout rates.I am also a social media content creator in a proyect called "Tucucicencia," where we discuss various topics related to biotechnology, its applications, scope, innovations, and future perspectives.Currently, I am involved in teaching and research activities at Biological Chemistry of Biochemistry, Chemistry and Pharmacy Faculty of Tucumán's National University, where our group is exploring alternatives to the currently used antifungals for controlling post-harvest pathogens in fruits.
