Beginning at 18 years old when I joined the U.S. Army until today, I have been working some sort of security and have had many different experiences in the field. I have been in security for 19 years plus to this point in various roles and have always seen myself as a protector at heart. I have experiences ranging from convoy security during a deployment to Iraq, to more customer services oriented security at a medical center, to keeping staff safe from violent patients in a hospital security setting, and now even protecting others in an armed capacity. I believe that the different roles I have worked in the industry have given me knowledge, life experience, and an attitude of being able to adapt to whatever environment I am in.My colleagues and friends would describe me as punctual, hard working, a team player, dedicated, but most of all they would say that I do my job. I pride myself in my attendance record, my willingness to work extra, and my willingness to learn. I am a fast learner and if there is something I don’t know I pride myself in trying to find the answer.Ultimately, I am looking to always improve my skills and grow. I am looking to continue to gain new experiences while looking for future roles in executive protection and private security.
