Carry a taser and received training from a certified instructor. Respond to keep the peace and ensure proper policies are followed pertaining to visitors, patients, and staff on hospital grounds. Screen visitors and patient for weapons upon entering the facility. Respond to other emergencies and codes pertaining to the hospital.

Also to place patients in restraints or subdue them while additional staff responds with solutions. Responded to additional hospital emergencies, fire alarms, infant abduction alarms, and other emergency alarms.

Monitored a private home in a unique setting that involved communication with the home owners, guests, and the public. Escorted trespassers off property and guests to proper areas when visiting. Performed hourly security checks around the property, monitored for trespassers, and communicated extensively with the public to deter and mitigate trespass. Also coordinated with other security professionals, police, lifeguards, and other first responders to ensure the safety of the public.

Attended boot camp and Airborne School at Fort Benning, GA. Assigned to 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, NC where I completed many military training exercises and did many static line jumps from C130 & C17 military aircraft. Deployed to New Orleans, LA to assist in Joint Task Force Katrina after the devastation of Hurricane Katrina in September of 2005. Also deployed to Iraq to assist with Operation Iraqi Freedom from July 2007 to August 2008.
