The Creative Curriculum Cooperative is a community of online educators dedicated to bringing our unique creative interests to the academic subjects we love to teach. We are experienced educators that guide learners through making everything from doodles to graphic organizers, to scientific illustration to explore academic subjects. We strive to create warm, safe, online learning spaces that respect and celebrate our global network of neurodiverse learners of all belief systems, racial and LGBTQ+ identities, and socioeconomic status. We support one another as we build our online teaching businesses through our organization, providing families on the Outschool learning platform a source of reliably fantastic, unique classes on any number of subjects, delivered by excellent educators.

As an early member of the online education marketplace, Outschool, I develop and deliver high quality learning experiences blending art and science to over 9000 learners from around the world.

I provided an American elementary educational experience to children in Beijing ranging from ages 5 to 14. Courses are taught via online platform and include a variety of topics, ranging from introductory phonics to reading comprehension across multiple subjects.

My time as a teacher at Visitacion Valley was focused on creating a culturally responsive, academically rigorous, yet warm atmosphere for a diverse array of students from around the world dealing.- Taught 7th Grade life science and 8th Grade physical science- Used data and cross-curricular planning to increase student reading indeces by an average of two grade levels as the Seventh Grade Lead - Collected and analyzed data, facilitated the incorporation of technology into classrooms, prepared Professional Development meetings, worked on behavioral interventions, and planned school events as part of the Instructional Leadership Team- collaborated with the San Francisco Teacher Residency to prepare teaching candidates for work in difficult schools- collaborated with the Marine Mammal Center to teach a fully integrated Marine Mammal curriculum with field experiencesplanned and executed a Conservation Convention in which 120 students presented research on issues affecting ocean health

At Centennial High School, I developed a teaching philosophy that focuses on producing autonomous, creative young people capable of pursuing their goals. My emphasis has been on creating an engaging curriculum geared toward student interest and a classroom environment of mutual respect and comfort. - Teacher of the Year, Centennial High School, 2012- Taught biology, physical science, anatomy, and astronomy in integrated special education, ESOL, on-level, and honors environments. - Increased test performance of English Language Learners by participating in a Sheltered Observation Instruction Protocol (SIOP) course and offering help seminars- Fostered cross curricular collaboration by developing and delivering trainings in differentiated instruction and case teaching to ~150 teachers and paraprofessionals - Encouraged student achievement at higher levels by judging and assisting with school and system-level science fairs- Sponsored five clubs, including Ultimate Frisbee, Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD), Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA) and Amani Children's Foundation, a student group supporting orphanages in Kenya- Engaged student interest by offering elective seminars in conversational Japanese
