For over 17 years, I have dedicated my career to fostering a deep understanding and appreciation for mathematics in students from grades 6 through 12. As a passionate educator and curriculum leader at Seminole County Public Schools, I have taught a wide range of math courses—from Algebra 1 to Calculus 2—empowering students to develop the analytical and problem-solving skills essential for success.In addition to my teaching role, I serve as the IB Program Coordinator, where for the past two years, I’ve led initiatives that ensure program excellence. This includes managing IB deadlines, conducting targeted teacher training, and organizing community-building events that recognize student achievement. My leadership extends beyond the classroom, as I am committed to supporting both students and staff in an ever-evolving educational landscape.Throughout my career, I have honed expertise in database management, spreadsheet analysis, and project coordination, ensuring high-stakes testing and administrative processes run smoothly. Clear communication, attention to detail, and organizational efficiency have been cornerstones of my work, allowing me to build positive relationships with students, parents, staff, and community members.As a proud recipient of the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (PAEMST), I strive to create learning environments that value curiosity, critical thinking, and diverse perspectives. My goal is to not only teach mathematics but to inspire lifelong learners who are equipped to navigate and contribute to a rapidly changing world.
