I also act for individuals whose human rights have been breached by MNCs and individuals, and am interested in expanding the justiciability of human rights (particularly economic and social rights) internationally.The cases I am currently working on include:- claims on behalf of a number of Iraqi civilians bringing civil claims against the Ministry of Defence for personal injuries and breaches of human rights;- claims by victims of trafficking and labour exploitation domestically and overseas against their traffickers and those profiting from exploitation;- a group claim against a mining company in respect of mistreatment and false imprisonment inflicted on environmental protestors;- a group product liability claim in respect of metal on metal hips.
