My specialty is providing creative, fact-based solutions to commercial real estate problems. I have concentrated a good deal of my professional work in advising corporate end-users (tenants) in lease transactions, especially in New York City, and managing large portfolios of properties. I’ve worked on real estate projects throughout the US and in more than 20 countries, for clients of nearly every type of industry, and in a variety of real estate sectors: office, industrial and warehouse, retail and food-and-beverage, residential, land, etc. I’ve helped end-users purchase and sell properties, and have represented property owners and investors in purchases, positioning properties, and leasing space. Recently: I’ve advised companies on global portfolio strategies including lease restructures, use of lease options, and lease optimization in preparation of business sale; led financial modeling for clients for lease vs. purchase scenarios, rent “buy-ups,” sale-leasebacks, decision-making with uncertain/variable market conditions, etc.; and co-developed a financial model for real estate investors and lenders to determine implied probability for the use of early termination options based on option pricing.
