I am an experienced Aviation Underwriter, with excellent technical knowledge and experience across a range of classes including Aerospace, Airline, General Aviation, Inwards Reinsurance and Satellite. Having worked for and progressed with Chaucer Syndicates Limited, I had a thorough grounding and learned a huge amount from the highly experienced team there. More recently at Antares, I have gained real breadth of understanding and the benefits of different approaches, as well as being able to bring practices and insight from the much larger syndicate at Chaucer. Being part of a professional, motivated team is key for me, and I’ve been fortunate to work with some extremely able and supportive individuals. I thoroughly enjoy what I do and am always learning and refining my skills, whether on the technical side or developing my sales technique. In my most recent role, I was able to contribute in particular through improvements to Management Information which enabled more informed underwriting decisions, adapt to market conditions and outperform competitors by evolving the book. I am an experienced presenter to internal colleagues and to clients and brokers, and have strong attention to detail and a clear and concise communication style.
