About Benjamin Diaz
I am an early career Data scientist looking for projects and teams to solve challenging and impactful problems for business, medicine, and technology. I am educated as a physicist which provides me with insight in multiple fields ranging from engineering, programming, and mathematics. Learning is a lifelong pursuit, which can lead us to innovative solutions to long-standing questions.I have most of my programming experience in python, which I've used extensively on an object oriented code for solving neutron star structure, data analytics, exploratory statistics, machine learning, and to a much lesser extent backend development.I also have experience with Fortran most notably the LAPACK library. I have worked with HTML and CSS on pet projects. I also have MATLAB experience in mathematical modeling of systems, as well as experience in Mathematica for quick calculations. I have basic knowledge of commands in R and C++ for simple programming. I also possess experimental knowledge of circuits and experience in building and analyzing electrical systems. I have experience with Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM), Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (MNR), and photolithography.
