I am an actuarial analyst at the Washington State Office of the Insurance Commissioner, where I have gained experience with the System for Electronic Rates & Forms Filing (SERFF), the Actuarial Value Calculator (AV Calculator) from CMS, and state and federal regulations in the contexts of medical, dental, vision, and disability insurances.My educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in mathematics with minors is statistics, actuarial science, and economics.I have passed all of the exams and modules necessary to earn the Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) credential. I am currently enrolled in the Associateship Professionalism Course (APC) as the last step to earn my credential and am on track to have this completed by 3/8/2024.Skills of mine include working in Excel, Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), and R.
