Ben led a squad of 18 Developers, BAs, Testers and UX specialists to deliver the technical readiness aspects of a transition from ONYX CRM to Salesforce CRM. This work included managing the squad's interactions to ensure integrations between 8 other squads including core banking, data analytics, communications, telephony and web were smooth and prioritised accordingly. The program of work was delivered using the SAFE scrum methodology over several Program Increments. This was a highly technical and complicated delivery and required Ben to draw on his many years of experience in delivering similar pieces of work. The delivery of the 'technical readiness' milestone is integral to the future success of the bank.

As the IT and Development Manager for Ballistic Media my role primarily involved managing a team of developers, engineers and designers in running and maintaining the very large web presence and the day to day IT Systems operations of Ballistic Media. One of my biggest successes was turning this team into a high performing Scrum team.The company is based in Adelaide with an office in Melbourne and a number of ‘work from home’ employees accessing the company WAN from Melbourne, Florida and London via VPN tunnels. Ballistic Media own a number of very large and busy websites, receiving on average 22 million visitors across all ten sites each month.
