Underground Graduate Geologist at Mt Belches Mining Centre

3-month vacation program working at Silver Lake Resources’ Deflector Project in the Southern Murchison region of Western Australia, during the summer university break. Working alongside Geologists and Field Staff to undertake an array of tasks including;-Core Processing underground and surface diamond drill core including ori-ing, mark-up, photographing, XRF-ing, logging, cutting and core sampling;-Accountable for ensuring that all the QAQC standards were met;- Working underground alongside Geologists to help assist in sampling, mark up and mapping ore drives;- Managing extensive data entry, utilising a range of software tools;- Remote independent core-yard and fieldwork.

Working in the Exploration Department during semester breaks from university. My responsibilities included:-Remote drill rig work;-AC and RC sampling;-AC pegging;-Core shed work including ori-ing, core mark-up, photographing core, cutting and sampling;-Photographing samples;-Data logging;-Remote work in fly camps.
