Before I became deeply invested in the design industry I was passionate about becoming a writer. Considering my career choice maybe we should all lessen our expectations of the following bio:My name’s Ben. When I was young I would always have a sketchpad with me wherever I went, making comics and doodling on anything from loose paper, to the hem tag in my backpack. At some point my obsession with letting my creativity loose transitioned to me becoming a digital designer who’s carefully crafted effective design solutions for a multitude of applications in both print and digital media. I studied the fundamentals of art (and by extension, graphic design) for a year in 2015-16, and then focused solely on design from 2017-20 at Georgian College. In 2019, I was a recipient of both the Chai Tse Memorial Scholarship Award and SDVA Scholarship Show awards. Going from the scribbles of my childhood to winning a tangible design award or two is pretty cool if you ask me.I've worked my way up from a Junior Graphic Designer, to a Creative Lead/Graphic Designer, to now a Sr. Digital Designer. I've worked with Marketing & Advertising agencies both in Canada the United States. I love taking brands to the next level, combining my ideas with yours. Maybe yours will be next!
