Provide project scheduling, EVM, and database support to a major research program, the Regional Class Research Vessel (RCRV) Project at Oregon State University.Make independent decisions. Evaluate, negotiate, and resolve highly sensitive situations with significant impact to the program(s), CEOAS, and OSU. Makes recommendations related to cost and schedule variances, and budget allocations for the program(s). Makes decisions related to the development, implementation, and administration of financial and EVM System procedures and systems designs. Such decisions involve interpretation and application of OSU, federal, and state fiscal compliance rules, regulations, and policies.

As stated in my offer letter, I was brought on as a EPC Project Scheduler with notion that I would be scheduling for Laurens +$200M Oil Expansion project with their client, HollyFrontier. Temporarily I was based in Irving, TX, during which I was trained in the Lauren’s basic Cost Control Procedures. Over the course of the project I’ve become the Project Controls Lead, overseeing and managing both Cost & Scheduling. I work closely with Engineering, Procurement, Field Engineers, Superintendence, and Site Managers to facilitate flow of information. These channels of communication include, but not limited to, weekly updates through established tracking sheets based off the estimate, weekly held meetings, equipment shipping/receiving dates, weekly monitoring schedule variances, the tracking of man hours spent over the course of the project using a methodical coding structure, and weekly reporting of current and past data through the use of EVM triple graphs.

As an Administrative Controls Management employee I provided project controls consulting services to Consumers Energy’s Gas Asset Management (GAM). This group was responsible for a major upgrade in the reliability of all Gas Transmission Pipelines & Storage circuits throughout the company's service area.

As a Project Controls Intern/Trainee I was on-site at J.H. Campbell Power Plant assisting with project controls duties such as updating the schedule during an outage and for various capital construction projects.On previous projects, I performed facility and grounds maintenance including constructing a 100' decorative block fence with towers, roofing, placing concrete, maintaining landscaping, and installing dry wall.
