I am an AMS certified broadcast meteorologist forecasting and communicating the weather in Vermont, New Hampshire, and the Adirondacks. Proudly serving the Burlington-Plattsburgh television market as the morning meteorologist on WPTZ (NBC5), owned by Hearst Television. After a brief stint in the private forecasting sector at Maxar Technologies, I began my career at WPTZ in 2019 as the weekend morning meteorologist, receiving a promotion to weekday mornings in 2022. Since joining the team, I helped drive large gains in our morning news viewership. As of mid-2024, Nielsen estimated our 4:30a-7a newscast receives over 50 percent of total viewers in the market – a first in station history against our long-standing competitors. In 2023 and 2024, readers of Seven Days newspaper voted me a finalist for "Best local TV personality" in their annual Best of Vermont poll.Graphic design is a passion of mine that pairs well with weather communication. I am self-taught with over a decade of experience in Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Pro. I have used my Python coding background to build unique, data-driven weather graphics that differentiate our product from the competition and many news stations outside the market.
