My Responsibilities are to handle and execute the organization's Material purchase decisions, while maintaining adequate stock levels and staying under budget.Project schedules are crucial for the company's success, I oversee the operation to ensure that all the right Materials, purchase order creation; order tracking and management, and ensure materials are available and serving their proper function, other responsibilities include. • Collaborate with other project managers to determine Material/equipment’s supply needs• Prepare requisition and Purchase orders for materials according to specifications and order.• Record, track, monitor orders, manage, analyze and receive supplies• Coordinate and supervise materials receiving inspections • Oversee distribution of materials to the offshore site.• Control inventory levels and ensure availability of material during emergencies• Supervise, evaluate and coach subordinates• Keep detailed records on procurement activities, material quantities, and specifications etc.• Assist in forecasting, budgeting to plan future orders• Source and interview vendors; negotiate contracts and costs• Ethically utilizing Company funds for procuring materials and scheduling shipments;• Making the most economically sound decision to purchase, rent, or exchange parts to properly fill project needs.• Coordinating primary components and the related parts resources from a single vendor whenever possible or practical.• Adjusting PO need dates or ship-to locations when directed to do so by the Planning group.• Performing other duties as assigned by the Management.

• Responsible for coordinating the process of selecting vendors, establishing payment terms, strategic vetting, selection, negotiation of contracts and services in line with the organizational polices and goals.• To ensure that the fundamental principles of Procurement (Transparency, integrity, openness, fairness, competition and accountability) are enforced.• Responsible for streamlining procurement processes, reduce material prices and other associated costs, identifying better sources of supply, to improve the organisations profitability.• Implement procurement strategies to make cost effective decisions from efficient vendors to deliver quality materials on time and at mutually agreeable terms• Responsible for liaising with SHIN/VENDOR/TUPNI throughout the project duration on procurement technical and commercial issues.• Responsible for Persuading, influencing and exploring positions and alternatives to reach outcomes that will gain acceptance of all parties and ensure that organizational strategic procurement objectives are met.• Prepare and attend weekly/Monthly Procurement meeting between SHIN/TUPNI.• Expedite Vendor on procurement activities, fabrication and delivery of materials/equipment from Vendor yard to our worksite (SHI-MCI)• Interface between Engineering, QA/QC, Planning, Document control on procurement related issues for clarifications to Vendors/TUPNI.• Co-ordinating, monitoring, tracking and reporting the progress of Procurement items (Equipment’s & materials) at Vendors site, undergoing construction or fabrication to ensure prompt delivery is met as planned.• Review and issue PO's, Contracts, Shipping documents (BOL, PL, CI, CCVO) and other• Review material Specifications to ascertain/confirm project requirements and hitch free delivery.• And all other procurement issues as deemed necessary or as directed by the management.

• Coordinate all Logistics/Materials movement activities at project sites• Direct and coordinate project purchases, warehousing, distribution, or financial forecasting services or activities to limit costs and improve accuracy, or safety. • Examine existing procedures or opportunities for streamlining activities to meet project requirement.• Direct the movement, storage, or processing of inventory.• Manage mobilization of equipment and engineers to project site in the safest process• Coordinates and expedites flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between sections or departments, • Reviews project schedules and related information and confer with department supervisors to determine material requirements to identify overdue materials and to track material.• Manages material requisition and establishes sequential delivery dates to departments, according to job order priorities and material availability.• Manage project vehicle lease negotiations, MOUs, SLAs and Contract administration with vendors.• Manage project journey management process to ensure safe operations.• Administer company fleet management policy in deploying trucks, cranes, drivers, operators.• Arrange and schedule time sheets for rented vehicles, trucks, cranes etc.• Control materials in and out of site

•Preparation of logistics plans to support all relevant operations within the project;•Establish and maintain project offices sufficient to support their needs and in full compliance with Security and other regulations.•Oversee recruitment of stores handling staff and office support staff members as required in respective regions;•Coordination of the payment of all logistics staff under direct supervision;•Assistance in provision of logistics support to other staff by arranging land and air- travel including arrangement of security clearance for daily/weekly missions;•Maintenance of equipment’s inventory;•Management of project transport requirements; assign duties to drivers ensuring timely services, issuing fuel, recording log-books and maintenance and repair/recovery of vehicles;•Ensure regular radio reporting procedures are maintained consistent with regulations and any local security measures;•Maintenance of accurate stores records and accounts through sound audit and stock taking procedures;•Performance of any other duties as required by the Program or Project Manager.Movement of Equipment and materials to the required site.
