As a Deli Associate, I was responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to all guests at the Deli counter and on the sales floor. My responsibilities as a Deli Associate were to weigh, package, and price items, such as salads or entrees, from the deli cold case and slice meats and cheeses using the deli slicers. I also assist in many miscellaneous duties, such as, filling the deli case and salad bar when it gets low, maintaining the back coolers and cleaning. I also occasionally assist the chefs and managers in the kitchen to help make salads and dips from scratch, make and package entrees, assisting in cooking tasks such as preparation for production, cooking and putting rotisserie chickens out on the floor for customers, making items to go out on the Hot Bar, and more.
