Digital Analytics And Optimization Consultant
Since taking on this role, I have had the opportunity to do a lot of really exciting and fun things (I think what I do is fun).Implementing best practices to set baselines for optimization strategies was the first step and led to exponential and immediate growth of top line ecommerce revenue (10x previous high) bringing us up to a point from which we could iterate successfully, in just the first month. Manager Of Google Analytics & Tag Management
With over 400 websites, a new analytics platform being introduced as well as Tag Management all being tied in at the same time, I could hardly resist the pull of working for such an exciting project and the bonus is that General Mills is a great company. That's important to me because I need to be excited about the work I do!In the first 6 months I created efficiencies in how tag management and google analytics are implemented that saved many hours per implementation from requirements gathering, to data layers, to tool setup. Thus far I've done over a two dozen GA implementations both traditionally and trough Tealium. By November 2015 that number will have almost doubled.. My passion for analytics, tag management and good data are evident through my cheerleading and evangalism of the tools, how to use them, how to get the data and information need as well as the building of processes and procedures that allow new users a smoother onboarding experience so they are at once more familiar and comfortable with these technical tools. With a user base in the thousands, it is my mission to build a culture of analytics at General Mills that is eventually more a familiar friend than a strange stalkery type thing.Tools: GA, Tealium, Optimizely, Maxymizer, KissMetrics, Audience Stream, Observepoint, SiteScan
