- Principal advisor to the Congresswoman on issues related to defense, economic development, transportation & infrastructure, space, small business, financial services, and water.

- Principal advisor to the Congresswoman on issues related to healthcare, COVID-19 resources, transportation & infrastructure, climate & the environment, natural resources, space, agriculture, energy, small business, education & labor, financial services, and water issues.-Assist the Congresswoman with her work on the House Select Committee on the Climate Crisis.- Work to advance the Congresswoman’s legislative priorities within my portfolio by crafting and introducing legislation, drafting letters to key agencies and stakeholders, managing appropriations requests and amendments, and preparing the Congresswoman for high-level meetings and speaking engagements.- Meet with constituent groups during the COVID-19 pandemic to document their needs and create plans to address them.- Secured a $50 million increase in water infrastructure funding under Section 219 for El Paso County in the Water Resources Development Act.- Act as liaison to the Congressional Progressive Caucus (CPC) by attending weekly meetings and providing CPC updates to senior staff.

- Oversaw the Congressman’s mail program by drafting constituent response letters, sending out over 1,500 pieces of mail per week, and maintaining an average response time of 7 days.- Compiled weekly mail reports detailing key aspects of the mail program such as incoming mail trends,amount of outgoing letters, and backlog size.- Acted as liaison to the Congressional Hispanic Caucus (CHC) by attending weekly meetings and providing CHC updates to senior staff.

- Conducting donor research in preparation for call time and new contributions.- Arranging daily press clips and distributing them to the staff and communications team.- Composing memos for members of Congress on a variety of events including donor meetings and fundraisers.

- Acted as a first point of contact for constituents by answering phone calls, welcoming visitors to the office, processing flag requests, and leading Capitol tours.- Consolidated constituent feedback using Intranet Quorum to ensure constituents received responses in a timely manner.- Produced over 30 constituent response letters reviewed by the legislative correspondent on topics ranging from cyber security to health care.

- Conducted campus tours for prospective students and guest of the University.

Addressed over 100 customer needs during 8 hour shifts in a fast-paced work environment. - Established a rapport with customers in order to best fulfill their requests. - Managed and organized stock. -Performed cashier duties such as completing transactions, managing money, and offering memberships.
