CurrentI handle Inventory ordering, distribution, and general inventory management for the facility. The inventory includes materials for - office admin supplies, facility maintenance and janitorial supplies, security equipment, staff uniforms, clothing for detained youths.Essentially, If physical object is being purchased for the facility I am the one managing -determining the best purchasing option from among available product vendors and potential outside options. -preparing the written purchase proposal for the item(s) in question-coordinating with the County to get bids placed for larger items-overseeing delivery / receiving process to make sure everything ordered gets properly supplied-managing all materials storage-handling material distribution for the various departments in the facility (including maintaining documentation on who uses what and how much)- Working with management to reduce inventory shrinkage wherever possible.
