At CTI and Associates I provide quality control for ongoing construction projects.

My role while working for S&ME was to evaluate sewer systems for deficiencies and to provide engineered improvement solutions to increase efficiency and reliability. My employment at this position was shortened due to covid-19 impacts.

During my time as a field engineer at Virgil C. Summer Unit 2 construction, the first new nuclear plants scheduled to be built in 30 years, I was given the opportunity to provide engineering support for site construction activities. To this effect, I have been directly responsible for: inspection of plant components to AISC 360 Steel Building Code, evaluating job hazards and safety controls, generating weld maps and construction sketches, identifying and resolving non-conformances, construction aid design, craft interface, and concrete placement oversight, coordination, and support.

While a project engineer at ACC, I was responsible for various landfill design projects where I provided engineering services including working on the design and operation plans of Augusta, GA landfill expansion on 500 plus acres. I was responsible for design of road alignment and profiling for access roads, water retention ponds design, basin runoff calculation using Hydrocad, site grading, and design of leachate collection systems to EPA landfill site design standards.

While an employee of Geo-Con, my work responsibilities were to manage the quality control aspects of various slurry wall construction projects and the day to day operations for jet grouting operations on the TVA ash spill remediation. Additionally, my responsibilities gave me experience with concrete sampling, field monitoring of work completed, report writing, and using AutoCad to create as-builts of completed construction.

This was a contract position where I was part of a team working on an Air Force contract in Spokane, WA to re-design the airport runway to modern standards. My responsibilities were to determine earthwork quantities by creating runway cross section templates and evaluating against plan layout surfaces through AutoCad.
