I spent 4 years as a lifeguard and swim lesson instructor teaching children between 3-10 the fundamentals of swimming and water safety. This taught me good communication skills when teaching a new concept, as well as skills in first aid and CPRIn the summer of 2015 I worked in the backroom of a Target, which, during the month of August (back to school time) was one of the busiest and most profitable Target stores in the nation. Target taught me how to manage time as well as meet deadlines under pressure.I worked as a sales associate at a RadioShack. During my time there I, along with another associate, transitioned the store between managers. Because of this job I was able to get a glimpse of what a manager does in day to day operations as well as strengthen my skills as a leader. I also worked as a receiving and outside yard team member at Menards. I learned to operate a forklift as well as other equipment. This job taught me about time management as well as customer service.In 2019 I worked as a wireless consultant for Mobile Life Inc-Verizon. I learned about sales, and how to upsell and meet company goals for phone, tablet, and connected devices sales. I graduated from UW-Stevend Point in May 2018 with my BA in Political Science. After spending some time working, I realized my true passion was in law enforcement. I attended the 720 hour law enforcement academy at MATC, and graduated that program in June of 2020.Currently I am searching for a position as a police officer in the state of Wisconsin.
