In my junior year of high school, I had already begun operating my website and writing blogs monthly. This passion for writing eventually got me a blog with the Times of Israel, one of Israel's most prominent English newspapers. To this day, I continue to write blogs for them.From the autumn of 2016 up until I was drafted into the military in December of 2017, I volunteered as an emergency medical technician for Magen David Adom, Israel's primary EMS operator. Volunteering in this job allowed me to develop skills such as working under pressure and communicating with other medics. Your ability (or inability) to do either in the field of EMS could make the difference between the life and death of your patient.In December of 2017, I was drafted into the military, and upon completing a quick three-month course in the military to sharpen my Hebrew, drafted into the armored corps. I spent eight months of training in a wide range of fields, such as first aid, proper teamwork, navigation, marksmanship, and of course, my primary job in the army as a tank crewman. As a rule, being part of a tank crew requires a heightened amount of teamwork abilities compared to many other military positions because you not only must be proficient in your field, but you also must be able to function as a team with your team. You could be the best tank gunner in your entire battalion, but your team is bound to fail in combat if you, as an individual, cannot work with others.In August of 2020, I was discharged from the military, and I currently study nursing at the Jerusalem College of Technology.
