Assistant Design Manager for Bowmer and Kirkland, working with the Department for Education, to deliver high quality educational buildings. I am currently managing the design for two projects; a £9million project during the construction phase involving the installation of temporary accommodation, demolition and rebuild of the main portion of the school and the renovation of a Victorian school building situated on a constrained site in a quiet village setting, and a £30million project in the pre-construction phase involving the construction of a new school building and complete demolition of the old school and associated landscape works involving working around flood constraints and planning for the project works in a busy live school environment. Recently I have also managed the design team for a £55million BREEAM Excellent project during the pre-construction phase consisting of the installation of 2 temporary accommodation blocks, demolition of multiple existing buildings and the construction of a 5-storey teaching block, sports hall building and separate nursery building on a constrained site bordering an MOD base in a busy London borough.Separately from my day job I also have a keen interest in residential property development, land acquisition and scheme development and residential retrofit.
