Deliver training and assessment of the Global Wind Organisation (GWO) certified Basic Safety Training (BST) to a wide range of industry stakeholders working in the wind industry.Work collaboratively to improve and develop the BST and Advanced Rescue Training (ART) GWO courses, facilities and staff.Educate and train clients working in the offshore industry skills required for sea survival, helicopter underwater escape, firefighting, first aid and self-rescue. (BOSIET, FOET and T-HUET courses).Liaise with workers and professionals in the wind industry including drone pilots, wind techs, surveyors, medics to understand their needs for training.

Responsible for and key contributor to personal safety and the Incident Response team’s Health, Safety and Environment culture – I lead and create an environment where managing risks and operating procedures are well understood and adhered to; Assess and control hazards; Co-ordinate and participate in emergency response drills; and manage trainees’ safety within high risk training situations.Team supervision and development of the Incident Response Training Team (six fulltime employees and up to 12 casual personnel), including annual team performance reviews; Managing team work priorities and logistics and scheduling of up to six daily training courses; Fostering a supportive team environment where two-way, honest and constructive feedback is encouraged to drive individual and team performance; and conflict management. Weekly delivery and assessment of classroom-based and practical Incident Response training in accordance with nationally recognised training framework and company procedures.
