Working remotely from Fort McMurray on active mining site to construct transmission powerline, my responsibilities at this posting include but are not limited to: - Directing day to day activities of multiple crews on multiple projects alongside the project manager expectations and skyline view of execution. - Forecasting, identification and mitigation of issues/barriers during construction and in package reviews during engineering review stages with client. - Ensure required quality documentation is completed as work progresses.- Manage and confirm alignment with project manager for all project aspects, schedule, cost, quotation, execution, personnel planning, equipment requirements based on job scope and required specifications. - Work closely with veteran supervision and newer supervision to develop timelines for quotations and production expectations. - Establish expectations for all levels of direct labor including supervisors and craft personnel. - Complete incident investigations, attend post incident meetings with the client, initiate/complete mitigation measures moving forward.

Acting director, bid proposal screening, bid proposal preparation, tender reviews.

Acting construction management team member as an officer/inspector and construction forecasting support on large transmission project.

- Attend and participate in daily meetings, safety meetings, job planning and job execution. - Mentor and train other apprentices and journeyman in safe work methods and approaches during day to day construction. - Cable pulling, Cable tugging, Cable securement, Glanding and terminations. - Installation of lighting and lighting circuits. - Termination and installation of transformer circuits, Power circuits and communication circuits. - Installation of raceway, field run tray, bonding and grounding of raceways/tray. - Participation in company safety programs and requirements such as near miss reporting, intervention of unsafe acts. - Work at heights on congested worksite.

Transmission line maintenance 500kV, 230kV.- Work on maintenance crew completing aerial repairs on conductor accessories and conductor.

Electrical Foreman industrial modular construction. - Planning of crew tasking daily.- Daily reporting, Safety reporting and crew supervision. - Supervise and direct the Handling, placement and securing of high voltage switch gear, electrical raceway and supports.- Supervise material handling, cable pulling.-Grounding and bonding installations on electrical apparatus and equipment.

Tower inspections , including tower assembly to specifications , wire inspections.Distribution construction for Wainwright CFB military base. Distribution Construction for Rimbey area Fortis upgrader. • 25 kV distribution Construction and maintenance. - Overhead and underground terminations. - Underground and overhead stringing, pulling.- Clipping and Tie in. - Operate equipment- Digger, Backhoe. - Arborist work near live lines.- Work near and on energized line. • 500 kV transmission construction, inspections and quality. - Tower climbing, man basket work at heights. - Tower inspections- Specified assembly, proper structural contacts, bolt and steel inspections. Conductor and conductor accessory inspections. - Aerial tower repairs, replacements of steel, installation of missing pieces, spacers/pack washers. Replacement of tower members, step bolts, structural bolts. - Complete Safety documentation and forms.- Work procedure review. - Equipment inspections and maintenance, both safety and construction tooling. - Rigging and setup of cranes. Hoist and boom tip baskets.- Utilize effective EPB&G procedures, climbing and bucket work.
