I am a recent graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Minnesota. My choice to pursue the field of architecture was informed by my passion for presenting creative ideas with as much simplicity and clarity as possible. In the Bachelor of Science program, I most enjoyed learning about and experimenting with tying projects to their specific sites, whether this is achieved by addressing a perceived need, responding to the site's unique characteristics, or revealing an otherwise latent quality of the site. My other interests include piano performance, sketching, and writing. My experience with the piano, in particular, has instilled in me a passion for expressing ideas through sensory impressions. I hope to design spaces which are sturdy and sustainable, but also effectively acknowledge emotion and the senses.During my time as a student of architecture, I have learned to operate Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Rhino, Revit, and AutoCad with proficiency and I would consider simple diagramming to be one of my best skills.
