- Led a team of 7 software developers to build an inventory processing web application for Patriots and Paws, a nonprofit organization serving veterans across California, using React, Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB, and Firebase- Assigned tasks, ran weekly team meetings, resolved developer's blockers, and review code to ensure high quality- Met bi-weekly with product manager, designers, and client representatives to plan features, provide development updates, and seek feedback

- Collaborated in 8-developer team to create landing page for FixNation, a nonprofit cat spay & neuter clinic- Developed navbar, cat biography cards, and involvement opportunities display, using Svelte & TypeScript

- Enhance iOS app used to diagnose Fetal Alcohol Syndrome (FAS), using SwiftUI and ARKit- Refined app by enabling comparison of patients’ facial features with expert-defined cutoffs across diverse demographics; developed survey to collect cutoff data from 2 FAS experts, using React, Express, Postgres, and AWS EC2- Integrated new facial scanning experience and algorithm into app, increasing scan resolution and measurement accuracy- Added patient facial model & texture export to AWS S3, enabling asynchronous validation of facial measurements

- Worked on the Game Services UI team- Developed 2 new features for Apple Game Center to increase engagement and convenience, using Swift and SwiftUI- Collaborated with design, product, and engineering teams to add new functionality necessary for my projects- Migrated an application to a new repository, enabling easier integration with new code

- Built TCP & UDP interfaces supporting 25+ messages for embedded laser control system (C++, FreeRTOS, lwIP)- Completed development of a Python/PyQt GUI to control & monitor system through TCP & UDP interfaces- Engineered H.265 video streaming feature for embedded computer vision system, using C++ and GStreamer- Diagnosed & fixed streaming performance bottlenecks, reducing end-to-end latency by 65% and CPU usage by 25%- Designed & built Android app client to demo streaming for customers, using GStreamer, JNI, and Wi-Fi Direct- Augmented stream with KLV-encoded metadata (e.g. timestamp, detected objects), displaying received data in app

- Programmed and tested 3 robots for RoboMaster paintball-like competition, using C++ and Mbed OS- Wrote, tested, and tuned Chassis control system to drive robot using remote input and IMU data

- Collaborated with another engineer to develop the front end of SkillMapper’s website, a search engine for online educational content, using Next.js, React, Redux, MaterialUI, and TypeScript- Resolved over 150 total issues, including a redesigned landing page, multiple upsells, and a new account settings page- Grew SkillMapper’s Chrome Extension to 1000+ users by implementing landing page, new UI design, webpage content highlighting feature, and YouTube transcript viewer & highlighter, using React & TypeScript- Created landing page and front end for new B2B learning & development service, focusing on admin dashboard, employee management, and spending analytics pages- Prototyped React Native iOS and Android app for SkillMapper; developed home, profile, and saved content screens, and feature to save content to SkillMapper from other apps

- Programmed robots in Java to compete in a different game every year- Collaborated with seven other Directors to lead 80-student World Championship-competing team- Led software subteam to win Autonomous Award, achieve highest average autonomous score, and rank #4 of 40+ teams at Los Angeles Regional by managing and assigning software projects

- Tested autonomous navigation code for 2021 competition challenges on team’s robot at my house

- Programmed Arduinos to connect to Wi-Fi and indicate RSSI using LEDs; researched and designed monopole, dipole, and helical antennas, working with three Boeing mentors and three other interns- Presented my group’s work to Boeing executives at conclusion of internship- Attended daily informational talks to learn about different fields and work within Boeing- Wrote three articles for internship newsletter about satellites, cybersecurity, and my project experiences
