As a leader of a small group, we founded the Association of Hungarian Biotechnology Students, of which I have been president for two years. The organization has managed to grow to an international level, the number of our members is now over 100 and we have an active working relationship with several large Hungarian biotechnology companies (e.g.: Ceva Phylaxia Zrt., Richter Gedeon Nyrt). I was a main organizer of the first Biotechnologist Days, which was a great success in 2023, both among students and participating companies.

- Development of a Heat-Stable DNA polymerase enzyme through Site-Directed Mutagenesis- Working on mutants of reverse transcriptase enzymes, which have since become a part of the company's active diagnostic enzyme portfolio - Development of new diagnostic enzymes with protein engineering (site-directed mutagenesis, fusion tags)- Structural bioinformatics tasks for different types of projects .

Worked as a laboratory assistant of a certified SARS-CoV-2 diagnostic qPCR lab. Mostly RNA isolation and qPCR reaction setup was the task and we worked in different shifts.

Development of a qPCR-based diagnostic procedure for the detection of mouse parasitic protozoans, which also served as my BSc thesis and has been used as a service in the department ever since. I also participated in the construction of an in vitro plasmid test system, which served the purpose of determining whether a special bacterial recombinase enzyme can function in a eukaryotic system. I have the opportunity to understand the structure and working of an SPF animal house.Methods used and learned: TaqMan qPCR, Sanger sequencing, generalrecombinant DNA technologies
