Midwest born and raised engineer who discovered a passion for construction playing with Lego. After pursuing a bachelors in civil engineering and co-ops in vertical and bridge design, I realized that needed to further increase my knowledge on structures. I decided the best course of action was to return to the University of Cincinnati and receive a Master of Engineering in structural engineering. All these experiences led me to finding a place at a structural engineering firm in Providence, RI.I currently work as a structural engineer and am continuously developing my knowledge in steel construction, mill rehabilitation, and analytical softwares. I really enjoy the unique challenges of working with existing structures, and the freedom of new structures. Additionally, I established a mentorship program that is developing young engineers' knowledge, and providing experienced engineers with leadership opportunities. My goals for the workplace are to continue refining and advancing the mentorship program, as well as, expand my knowledge of analytical softwares. In addition to that, I want to achieve a P.E. or S.E. license, and manage a project. Outside of work, I want to continue traveling the world, improve my personal fitness, and reignite my piano hobby.
