Practice includes medical malpractice defense, complex commercial litigation, insurance defense, insurance coverage analysis, and appellate litigation. Practice also includes negotiating and drafting business contracts, employment agreements, and other transactional instruments. Responsible for trial practice, appellate practice, depositions, written discovery, motion practice, legal research, motion hearings, and oral advocacy in Utah and Federal courts. Practice also includes counseling clients in litigation management, risk management, regulatory compliance, and business transactions.

Manage all legal and regulatory compliance affairs for an early-stage medical devices start-up. Duties include drafting corporate formation documents, negotiating and drafting transaction instruments, developing and implementing FDA regulatory compliance strategy, and assisting in product development and marketing. Primarily responsible for developing business plans and generating investor and customer presentations.
