I'm currently searching for job opportunities in the Northern Virginia area. I am a graduate from Keene State College with a major in History, specializing in American Studies, and a minor in Writing. During my time at Keene State College, I also worked as a teaching assistant where I helped write lesson plans and read through papers submitted by students. During my time in this position, I developed strong proofreading and time management skills. I have excellent computer skills, a succinct writing style and well-developed research capabilities. I have also cultivated a strong work ethic from my prior work and volunteer experiences. For example, I started my first job at fourteen years old in order to contribute to household expenses. This experience taught me the value of money and how to interact with different types of personalities. Additionally, I have spent the last twelve years fundraising for cancer research through the Pan-Mass Challenge. Every summer, I ride 160-miles on my bike in order to increase awareness for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. I have helped my team raise over $2 million for the organization.
