Recognized for having the best maintenance program of 8 Patriot units in the Central Command Area of Responsibility in 2009 while deployed to Qatar. I managed the maintenance and logistics for a Patriot missile firing battery. I was the maintenance subject matter expert for the Patriot radar, fire control, power generation, and missile launching stations.I supervised and performed the troubleshooting of a 32 million dollar radar including conducting diagnostics and parts replacement of electronic components. I was responsible for ensuring the calibration of all tools and diagnostic equipment in the unit valued at over 300,000 dollars.I wrote policies and programs for all maintenance, safety, and maintenance shop operations within the unit and was responsible for the implementation of those programs and policies.I was responsible for accurate reporting of all equipment statuses and equipment repair processes to the higher echelon unit.I trained and managed the maintenance team to properly perform all maintenance and reporting functions.I managed and inventoried diagnostic parts worth over 6.1 million dollars.I was in charge of ordering, stocking/ storing, packaging, disposal and/or shipping electronic parts, petroleum products, and other hazardous material.

Manager of the administrations department for an organization of 90 personnel. I used the Microsoft Office suite of programs to produce reports and manage all paperwork including training files, qualification records, personnel information files, family sponsorship, financial inquiries, overseas deployment readiness files, organizational calendar, and unit statistics. I was responsible for the coordination and preparation for organizational steering commitee meetings. I was also reponsible for the upkeep of up to date Army Regulations and other publications for the unit. I ensured the proper storage, marking, and destruction of all paperwork with classification of up to Secret for all but the engagement operations and communications security sections. While in this position I was also the manager of the Patriot Battery Command Post which was tasked with keeping track of all activities and supplies when the unit conducted operations outside of the traditional office space in the field. My efforts in all of the above areas were recognized as the model for Battalion for many years after my departure.
