Voluntarily stepped off of staff to take a sabbatical rest and engage in self-care, before relaunching into the field in a new direction.Work experience included: conducting individual, family, couples and group therapy. Through the experience I was able to serve various demographics and populations including dual diagnosis, substance use disorders, primary mental health and stage of life/relational issues. I worked with various treatment modalities including: CBT, Intergenerational family therapy, Internal Family systems, Solutions focused, family systems, couples counseling, DBT, EMDR, TF-CBT, EFT, and 12 step intervention.I gained experience starting a program with one initial client, and collaborating with a team to grow the program to service up to 30 clients in roughly a year.
