Benjamin Meyer is a Master's Level Licensed Associate Counselor with the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners, working toward independent licensure. He graduated from The Ohio State University with a BS in Psychology and from Ottawa University in Phoenix, Arizona with his Master's in Counseling. Benjamin has had a variety of experiences working in behavioral health, such as a manager of multiple residential communities, as an advocate and teacher for Domestic Violence cessation, and for Native American Connections helping others overcome various types of alcohol and drug addictions. Benjamin enjoys helping others overcome depression, drug abuse, low self-esteem, and multiple other mental health disorders in addition to working with both individuals and with couples and families. Ben identifies as having a psychodynamic approach and being influenced by theories such as existentialism as it relates to treatment. Ben also enjoys helping others overcome past trauma and using dreams as a spiritual guide in getting more in touch interpersonally.
