Communication has been at the center of my life for 20 years. I'm passionate about connecting with an audience, whether it's as a reporter, a musician, podcast host, or a guest lecturer to journalism classes at my alma mater, Shippensburg University.I've covered four presidential elections, traveled aboard Air Force One, interviewed members of Congress and high-ranking foreign officials, and developed sources in the Pentagon and across the U.S. military. I've written about politics, the development of artificial intelligence and its use in warfare, counterterrorism campaigns in the Middle East, environmental policy, heartbreaking mass shootings, and countless other issues and events that have shaped recent history.Long before any of that, I attended a one-room schoolhouse (with a graduating class of three students) and worked my way through community college for two years before moving on to Shippensburg. I spent four years as a reporter in rural Pennsylvania, paying my dues covering county commissioners' meetings, local school boards, fires, car accidents and court cases.Throughout my career I've made regular on-air radio and TV appearances. I co-host the "Threat Status Podcast" at The Washington Times. I edit and produce each episode of the show. I also helped launch the "Threat Status" newsletter, which began as a weekly product but is now a highly successful daily offering. Outside of the newsroom, I've co-written and starred in several short films and have decades of experience as a songwriter and performer.
