As a NOC (Network Operations Center) Support Intern at Jamii Telecommunications Ltd, I was responsible for a wide range of tasks related to the company's network management and operations. My primary duties included:Monitoring and maintaining the network management applications to ensure their optimal performance and reliability.Applying my analytical skills to identify and troubleshoot network-related issues, working quickly to resolve any problems that arose.Demonstrating a deep understanding of the Internet Protocol Suite (TCP/IP) to effectively manage and configure the network infrastructure.Performing routine maintenance on the network equipment, including software updates and hardware inspections, to keep the system running smoothly.Employing critical thinking skills to approach challenges from multiple perspectives and develop innovative solutions to meet the company's needs.In addition to these core responsibilities, I also gained experience in other areas such as line of sight, Gigabit-Capable Passive Optical Network (GPON), Network Management Systems (NMS), 4G, and knowledge acquisition. This internship provided me with invaluable hands-on experience in the telecommunications industry, allowing me to develop a strong foundation in network operations and management
