FitSpace is a new coworking office in Shanghai by Workspace Commerce. It combines comfortable working environments with healthy practices like group lunches, meditation, or classes at the gym (included for all FitSpace members). As Community Director I really have a great time getting to know the tenants and grow the community through activities, showcases, or even just over a beer (and our beer is pretty good). Before the community came along, I was involved in operations, design, marketing, and anything else I could get my hands on. It was ever easy, was a bit more than I could chew, but we don't find our limits if we don't push ourselves. I am also a FitSpace member so you'll likely catch me at a desk working with my other company, sometimes eating my lunch at my computer after the mid-day boxing class. I work with some close friends who are also amazing colleagues at a company called Five:IT. It's this constantly evolving creative agency that blends digital marketing and production and events. This way, the clients' brands are represented through a story across digital platforms like web and WeChat, and design including brand identity, graphic design, and campaigns. Whenever appropriate, we like to find excuses for O2O events, and yeah, we execute almost all of this in house. It's not easy, but it sure is a great feeling. It's difficult for me to explain my duties, because so much of what we do is teamwork. Whether it's trying a new way of running our meetings, redesigning pitch decks, or doing a full branding campaign for a client, we have an environment where all ideas are welcome.
