Associate Software Engineer
Current* Supported the Integrated Sensor Architecture (ISA) team, an interoperability solution that allows for the sharing of information between sensors and systems in a dynamic tactical environment.* Designed, developed, tested, and maintained ISA plugins for the Tactical Assault Kit (TAK-MIL) across multiple baseline products including Android (ATAK), Windows, and Linux (TAKX). --> Utilized modern Java libraries and frameworks (e.g. Guava) along with internal APIs (provided by ISA and TAK) to deliver the plugins as the most user-friendly ISA products. --> Wrote technical documentation for multiple levels of users from end-users to system administrators. --> Matured both projects into enterprise level software applications by integrating them into continuous integration (CI) pipelines such as Jenkins and GitLab. --> Established broad and impactful test plans which included automated testing via modern test libraries. Utilized JUnit 5 for unit testing along with Espresso and Mockito for instrumented testing.* Worked with key government stakeholders to establish a standard demonstration plan for customers. Operate, test, and maintain networked sensors and cross domain solutions (CDS) in support of ISA demonstrations and conferences.* Provided expert support, communications, and documentation regarding ISA and TAK capabilities to non-technical stakeholders, collaborators, and government contacts. Utilized the Atlassian suite (Confluence, Jira, and Bitbucket) to manage workflows and provide deliverables.
