Whilst studying at university, i am in this position out of term time only.Continuing with Thrifty, working away from the branch in the Flexifleet Long Term rentals team at the UK Head Office in Exeter.This allowed me to see the business from a nationwide point of view as opposed to focusing on the devon area, as we cover Truro, in the South of England, to Inverness in the North of Scotland.My main responsibilities include:- Ensuring the customer goes through a smooth and efficient rental application process.- Liaising with front line branch staff where necessary to confirm we are able to use a particular vehicle for the customer and ensuring it is prepared to the highest standard.- Sourcing vehicles that are up to standard and has sufficient mileage/date left to ensure no changeover is required within 3 months of rental initiation.- Arranging movement of fleet to meet demand, where necessary - Ensuring the customer provides us with an insurance policy that meets the business requirements.- Answering any enquiries from the branches or customers directly and ensuring they are forwarded to the correct department.
