I've been an Assistant Plumber for 5+ years and will take the initiative on getting the job done ethically and responsibly. Seeing the costs of materials change while being a plumber has made me interested in the economy and influenced my decision to pursue an economics major. My time in plumbing has also carried over to my learning style taking the time to engage and think about what is being taught and then understanding it.
