Benjamin Schram began working as the Surveillance Systems Manager at the North Dakota Department of Health and Human Services (ND HHS) in 2020. He has implemented a variety of innovative and effective strategies to improve data collection and analysis. Benjamin has been recognized for his contributions to public health with a number of awards and honors, including the North Dakota Department of Health Telegraph Award for Excellence in Technology, which he received in 2022. He was selected to be part of the 2023 cohort of the Council of State and Territorial Epidemiologists (CSTE) Leading Epidemiologists and Advancing Data (LEAD) program. He is a part of the NDSU MPH Program's advisory board, and is an active member in the CSTE Surveillance and Informatics Committee. Benjamin is passionate about his work and is committed to advancing public health surveillance and informatics.
