During summer break in 2010 when I was a student at Red Wing Public Schools I completed a 3 months unpaid summer internship with my school district. In this role I learned about Active Directory, Imaging new computers, hardware-related issues, setting up new computers, and asset management. I did this internship prior to college because I wanted to know if Information Technology was the field I wanted to get into. I learned so much during my time at Red Wing Public Schools and was able to land an IT job before completing an IT degree because I gained so much knowledge
