Urban Social Gallery is a pop-up LA event space. My duties as curator are to organize a monthly group exhibition of local Los Angeles artists, create and spread promotional material and install the work.

As an assistant at the Jacob Lawrence Gallery as well as member of the design team, my duties were as follows:Gallery Attendant: I attended the gallery several days of the week. My duties included opening and closing the gallery, shipping and receiving pieces, and helping gallery visitors.Exhibition production: I assisted the director in conceptualizing and writing the information about the exhibits. I also had a hand in curation of the physical space of the gallery, helping install exhibits in the most aesthetically effective way possible. Design: As a member of the design team I was responsible for creating all promotional material as well as exhibition programs and display labels. I also used Adobe Indesign and Photoshop to put together the gallery’s bi-annual art journal.
