Hi there! My name is Ben Swarr. I grew up in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania on a small farmette where I learned how to work hard taking care of animals and working on local farms. I was homeschooled during middle and high school, but wrestled, played football, and ran track for Garden Spot High School. After graduating high school, I studied Christian Ministry with a concentration in Youth Ministry at Messiah College, where I was a member of the wrestling team and was blessed to win a NCAA DIII National Championship in my weight class in 2016. During college, I interned with Westminster Presbyterian Church in Lancaster, PA. During and immediately after college, I worked for a plastering company named Ladd Plastering and gained some experience in construction. In 2019, I began working for a non-profit, parachurch sports ministry called Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA). I currently serve as our Area Director for Berks County, Pennsylvania. Our ministry focuses on engaging coaches and athletes with the good news of Jesus Christ, equipping them with God's Word, and empowering them with the Great Commission.
