Reporting to the Assistant Manager, this role oversees the daily operations of the fitness centre and co-working space, ensuring Forbes 5-star customer service and satisfaction. Responsibilities include managing fitness programs, supervising staff, and contributing to MBS wellness goals.Operations: Manage operations of the fitness centre and co-working space. Ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and proper functioning of equipment and facilities. Monitor and improve productivity, stock control systems, procurement, and daily task rotations. Update SOPs, manuals, and workbooks to maintain prescribed operational procedures.Fitness & Wellness Programs: Curate and manage fitness classes and activities for guests. Develop and execute an annual events and program calendar. Maintain exceptional standards for all activities.Sales & Marketing: Maximize sales through promotions and cross-selling. Maintain knowledge of all fitness treatments, packages, and promotions. Participate in and oversee demonstrations/events. Guest Relations: Provide outstanding service and a warm welcome to clientele. Conduct tours for VIPs, journalists, and prospective members. Address guest enquiries, feedback, complaints, and issues promptly. Build and maintain relations with fitness centre guests.Staff Management: Lead, train, and develop the fitness team. Conduct regular team meetings and communicate important information. Set and evaluate performance targets for all key areas. Provide leadership and support to ensure high service standards. Develop an annual training plan with section heads.Finance & Commercial: Analyze financial and KPI reports to achieve budget goals. Implement incentive schemes and training to maximize staff capacity. Produce performance reports and develop cost-saving initiatives.Health, Safety & Hygiene: Adhere to health and safety guidelines and instruct staff during induction. Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of all facilities in line with standards.
