Responsibilities of my role include: • Application of quantitative and qualitative underwriting methods to formulate risk strategies across the Agricultural, Dairy and Engineering industries in Australia and New Zealand • Preparation of internal sector reports for specialised analysis on sector trends, statistics and forecasts • Country Management of Pacific Islands exposures which involves governing company strategy across varying risk environments and producing country reports to monitor continuing developments in emerging markets • Regular debtor visits to collate insights on financial and operational conditions, blending figures and tangible logistics for prudent cash flow forecasting • Preparation and presentation of detailed reports to regional and global credit committees addressing concentrations of risk • Active contribution to internal economic cost of capital management to meet regulatory liquidity requirements for financial institutions • Regular meetings with industry bodies, credit information bureaus and brokers to share market data on industry trends and statistics
