I enlisted in the United States military during my senior year of high school. I spent 6 months receiving military/technical training in Georgia & Oklahoma. I then went on to serve 4 years as an Air Defense Enhanced Early Warning Systems Operator for Alpha Battery, 5th battalion/7th regiment under the 10th Air & Missile Defense Command, stationed in Kaiserslautern, Germany. I have one year of experience performing secretarial/clerical duties for a company level commander, as well as 2 years general IT experience and 2 years general FM communications experience. Following my separation from the military, I was employed as a Machine Operator at Quabbin Wire & Cable Co., manufacturing data/general purpose cables. I have technical experience in operating wire cablers/stranders, braiders, as well as operating various extrusion processes from wire & cable primary conductors, to overall cable designs. I have a strong focus on efficiency and contributing to a lean-manufacturing environment. After going on to serve as an assistant production supervisor for Quabbin Wire, I went on to change career paths, and am currently employed in the chemical field as a Resimene Process Operator for Prefere Melamines LLC, based in Indian Orchard, Massachusetts. I am now employed as a Resimene Process Operator, specializing in the various chemical plant operations that contribute to producing high quality melamine resin products. I am also a member of the Fire Brigade for the Eastman Indian Orchard Chemical Plant.
