As manager of the under 23's team within the womens set up at Lincoln City Who compete within the FA womens National reserve league. The first team are playing in the FA Womens National Division 1 midlands division which is their 4 of the womens football pyramid. I was responsible for the general management of the playing and coaching staff within my squad. My responsibilities were but not limited to:- Organisation and preparation of training and match facilities - Creating a positive and development focuses environment- Design, plan and delivery of training sessions- Planning and organisation of games, from friendlies to league and cup fixtures.- Liaise with the first team coaching staff regarding players progression and performance.- Liaise Academy and foundation staff o player progression and what players may be coming through the set up- liaise with the club officials to ensure all admin tasks for players and match days is completed correctlyThe aim is to help bridge the gap between RTC/Grassroots/academy and first team level and add an extra developmental phase in to allow for a smoother transition to adult football. This allows extra time to develop players within the added pressure of first team football thus creating a higher standard of players for the first team.
