Hey there! I'm Benj Torrie, and YOU are at my LinkedIn page! I was born in Utah, then our family eventually made our way to Canada, where I have spent most of my life on the farm. The farm has taught me how to work hard at whatever I do. I've always been in love with music, every aspect. I wasn't always a fan of family history. I grew to be a family historian starting at about age 16. At about 14 I started writing poems, lyrics, and little ditties on the piano. I'm a self-taught songwriter, though I have taken about four years of piano lessons and a semester of voice lessons. I have helped numerous people with their family histories, as well as continually researching my own. I use FamilySearch, Ancestry.com, FindMyPast.org, among others. For my music, I currently use Presonus Studio One 2 and Musescore to produce my music. I attend open mics and accompany myself on the piano.
