Postdoctoral Fellow at Stanford University in Dr. Denise Monack's group. I study the pathogenesis of Salmonella using a variety of methods including next generation sequencing and tissue culture. My goal is to understand why different strains of Salmonella manifest as dramatically different diseases.

Co-advised by the Laub and Ribbeck labs.

Undergraduate TA for Caltech's Biology 9 course (third term in 2014 and 2015).

Undergraduate researcher in the Newman Lab at CaltechUndergraduate thesis: "Understanding the reduction pathway of phenazine-1-carboxylic acid in Pseudomonas aeruginosa". Used traditional genetic and biochemical methods, including x-ray crystallography, to identify and characterize multiple flavoproteins that could catalyze the reduction of secondary metabolites known as phenazines.
